Land for Community Benefit
The Center for Housing Economics is working with neighbors and community partners to identify vacant, abandoned, and underused land that could be acquired and managed for long-term community benefit. This survey will help us create a database of vacant and abandoned property for community advocacy. It will also help us keep in touch with you about progress on building a portfolio of community owned land.
Do you know of land or property we should know about?
Are there vacant, abandoned, underused, or problem properties in your neighborhood? Tell us where they are and what we should know about them. Even if you don’t know of a specific property, we’d like to hear what community benefits matter to you.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and helping us explore how land can create lasting benefits for the community.
